Main Function Of 250 OK/NG Unloader:

• SMT lines have multiple stages where components are placed onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). At the end of each stage, the PCBs move down the line to the next process.
• Between stages, there are often NG/OK unloaders installed. These are mechanisms that check for defects, remove bad boards marked as NG (no good), and allow good boards marked as OK to proceed.
• Optical inspection cameras are commonly used to check for missing components, misalignments, poor solder joints, etc. If defects are found, the PCB is automatically marked as NG.
• When an NG board reaches the unloader, pneumatic pushers activate to divert it off the main conveyor and onto a reject conveyor. OK boards stay on the main line and continue to the next stage.
• Having NG/OK unloaders minimizes the number of defective boards proceeding through the full assembly process. This saves time, materials, and prevents good boards from being damaged if transported together with NG boards.
• Unloaders help isolate and remove defects as early as possible. NG boards removed can be reworked if the issues are fixable. The process improves quality control and efficiency for high-volume SMT production.
